Developed by educators and networking professionals, the Networking Academy program delivers Web-bases Curriculum, hands-on labs, instructor training and support, and preparation for industry-standard certifications. The program has grown to more than 10.000 academies in more than 150 countries with nearly 450.000 students participate.

Electrical Engineering Department University of Indonesia (EE-UI) has become part of Cisco Networking Academy (CNA). Today EE-UI being trusted as Regional Academy and Local Academy for Cisco Certificate Network Associate (CCNA). Also as Cisco Academy Training Center (CATC) for expanded curriculums. As CATS and Regional Academy, EE-UI train local instructors that come from many local academies that spread out from Sumatra until Papua, Until 2008, there are about 38 Local Academies that leaded by CNA EE-UI.

In 2003, CNA EE-UI has enhanced Academy by opening for Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP) Curriculums, the first in Indonesia. With motto Toward IT Society with Empowering Internet Generation, CNA EE-UI gives opportunities to everyone who wants to become player in the future internet generaton with professional training in computer networking.
